We’re in disbelief that the day has finally come to open our barn doors and excited to share the space with you after so many years of DIY renovations. Our hope with these dinners is to fill the table with locals and visitors alike who are interested in learning more about our region – its rich agricultural history and its creative revitalization. We feel so grateful to call the Hudson Valley home.
Here’s what you can expect during your evening in the barn with us:
The first hour of the event will be spent welcoming guests with a signature beverage and time to mingle outside while dinner is being prepared over our open-fire grills. Guests will then be seated inside the barn at our farm table to enjoy hors d’oeuvres.
A brief introduction to the menu and wine selection, will be followed by a series of savory courses that make use of our own home-grown produce as well as meat, dairy, fruits and vegetables from our neighboring farmers. Taking advantage of what is available to us in the Hudson Valley in late May, this meal is meant to be a celebration of time and place.
After dinner, guests will be served coffee, tea and dessert and invited to stay seated or gather around the bon fire. A lit pathway will help guide guests back to the parking lot to end the evening.
